Abstract

Many people suffer from mental illness and students specifically have struggled with their mental health. Although people struggle with mental health, there tends to be a major stigma around it. It seems that there is not much awareness when it comes to dealing with mental health, particularly in schools. There are multiple aspects when it comes to identifying mental illness like academic stress, family stress, and the stress of an environment; these are all aspects of a type of stress that can lead to mental health issues. Parents and schools need to be aware of this issue and work to help young people.
